A number of major new footpaths have been confirmed for installation as part of Phase 2 of the Australian Government’s Local Roads & Community Infrastructure Program. An upgraded shared path will be installed in Thornton that will provide a link between the school, shops, train station and Chisholm, while there will also be additional footpaths at Bolwarra Oval and in Largs. All three projects will complete a design stage before construction begins later in the year to be completed by the end of 2021.
