🗳️ DAVID LAYZELL NAMED AS UPPER HUNTER BY-ELECTION NATIONALS CANDIDATE 🗳️ Clarence Town construction manager and father of four David Layzell was preselected as the NSW Nationals candidate for the May 22 by-election at a meeting in Singleton last night. Mr Layzell has rejected accusations the Nationals Party is all about only supporting coal mines. “The mines can’t run rough-shod over our agricultural land. We have some of the best land in the world. “But at the same time, we can make sure that the mines can exist, and we’ll allow them to exist, as long as they are respectful of their fellow neighbours and our towns.”
