The Mustangs’ Youth Basketball League players are trading their uniforms and long socks for evening wear. Fashion and basketball? Yes, it’s a thing thanks to local fashion business owner, Sharon Cole of After Dusk Dress Hire. Partnering with Maitland Basketball Association Development manager Trevor Gallacher and Patrick Lane from Ken Lane Menswear, Mrs Cole thought of the concept in early March to have a fashion show to fundraise for the under 23 Mustangs. “We’re aiming for a bit of fun, community spirit and hoping for a good night before the launch of the Mustangs first home game on Saturday,” Mrs Cole said. “My son plays for the Mustangs which gave me the inspiration to make an all-inclusive event and have both…
